Pea Ridge Community Church started a sewing circle on January 15, 1942.
Sewing Circle meets every month on the third Monday. Everyone is invited to attend. Comforter tops are sewn and knotted. These comforters are given to anyone in the community that has had a fire or in need. Comforters are given to each high school graduate in the congregation to show them that we love them. When someone in the congregation gets married they are given a comforter. Also when a new baby arrives in the congregation a baby comforter is given to welcome them.
We may not be a large group but the fellowship and carry-in meal is always enjoyed.
