Pea Ridge Community Church began in 1904 as a member of Mennonite Church conference. In 2004 the congregation became affiliated with Fellowship of Evangelical Churches.
The church is located approximately 25 miles from Hannibal, Missouri. The parsonage and church are located on 20 acres between Palmyra and Philadelphia. The community is a small rural area with a good school system and community togetherness.
Pastor Dale Begley and his wife Camra have been leading Pea Ridge Commuity Church since March 2019. Pastor Dale was raised in Philadelphia so it’s been great coming back to his hometown. They have 2 sons, Ethan and Cooper.
Our mission is to grow in faith and share our faith in God with the world around us. In order to achieve this mission we will:
- Strive to be a church, actively reaching out and welcoming all persons in developing a growing relationship with the Lord.
- Give our very best efforts towards our weekly corporate worship services.
- Being committed to service, outreach and improvement in our community and to bring healing and hope to households in the name of Christ Jesus.
- Follow the Great Commission – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV
